Big Springs Park in Provo offers a huge open field surrounded by stunning mountain views, making it one of the most beautiful and versatile photo locations in Utah County. During the summer, the field is full of lush green grass that glows beautifully during golden hour. In the fall, everything transforms into rich golden tones while the mountains become covered in breathtaking fall foliage.
Every season here feels completely different, which is one reason I keep coming back year after year.

What to Know About Big Springs Park
One thing I always like to mention before sessions at Big Springs Park is that the location does require a short, steep walk to reach the field. The hike is only about five minutes, but the path is uneven in some areas, so it may not be the best fit for elderly family members or anyone needing wheelchair accessibility.
That said, the view and scenery at the end are absolutely worth it, and the open space gives us so much freedom to create beautiful, natural images.
